Thank you to the membership team and all unit leaders for a great fall recruitment. We ended October plus in membership for the first time in four years. We are already plus for the month of November and -75
for year end.
Welcome
I would like to welcome Cub Scout Pack 239 to the Algonquian District. The pack is sponsored by Tyner United Methodist Church.
Charters
The next scheduled time to turn in your charter is November 30th from 6:00-7:30pm at the Council Office. You can turn them in at the December roundtables as well. If you can’t make those times, you need to schedule an appointment with either Christine or myself.
Friends of Scouting
At the past roundtable, we had the flyer available to schedule your FOS dates. I will be emailing them out to everyone soon. Thank you Troop 579 from St. Mary’s in Niles to be the first unit to schedule your roundup.
Merit Badge Fair
Thank you To Mike Rosenbaum and everyone that helped with the Merit Badge Clinic on October 31st. We had 103 Scouts attend the event this year. A special thanks to Lake Michigan College for hosting the event. Mike Rosenbaum is stepping down from running the Merit Badge Clinic and Tim Monaghan will be taking over. Thank you Mike for running a great event for the last two years and laying the ground work for an ongoing successful event.
