South Bend, IN, – Boy Scouts of America LaSalle Council – Algonquian District announces its’ new 2014-15 District Officers. The new officers include Jim Ellis, District Chair; Randy Yoho, District Commissioner; Kevin Davis, Vice Chair; Tim Monaghan, Assistant District Commissioner and Steve Jurek; Advisor, Order of the Arrow. The Algonquian District provides programs throughout the year such as Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, and Day Camps and Learning for Life Programs that include Exploring and In-School Scouting. These programs serve 1,721 youth from Marshall and St. Joseph Counties in Indiana and areas of Berrien and Cass Counties in Michigan. The LaSalle Council Scout Camps in Indiana are Camp Topenebee, near Michigan City and Rice Woods, Marshall County and in Jones, Michigan, Camp Tamarack Woods Lake Scout Reservation
